Ratio is basically, the inhale, hold and exhale concept in meditation. The beginner ratio is considered to be 2:4:6 which means 2 seconds inhale, 4 seconds hold and 6 seconds exhale, when the person masters the art they can move ahead and gradually reach the maximum ratio of 10:12:14 which is 10 seconds inhale, 12 seconds hold and 14 seconds exhale. 

What to keep in mind while doing Meditation?

Remember meditation is for nourishment of our body and mind. It is important to let go of everything that bothers you for a while and only concentrate on breathing.

Leave the body and surroundings and focus only on your inner self and know yourself in much deeper terms.  The basic meaning of Meditation is “Make your mind zero” which means no negative thoughts and no positive thoughts just completely silent for a while in order to relax from the hectic lifestyle.
