Our story

Healing as a way of life

Nature, ancient wisdom and holistic wellbeing — three generations of it, gathered into one small apothecary.

“You owe yourself the moment of healing.”

01

A way of life

In our home, medicine was the last resort

Healing, for us, was never something you bought in a strip of pills. It was the steam of ajwain water on a winter morning, turmeric pressed into a scrape, the patience to let the body do what it has always known how to do.

Healots was born from that home — a planet-loving venture by Alma Mater Biz Solutions, set on reviving the desi nuskas and alternative therapies that quietly healed generations before us.

02

The grandfather

Two cardiac arrests, and a different choice

In his early forties, our grandfather suffered two cardiac arrests. The doctors were blunt: without aggressive intervention, he would not last.

He chose another road — herbalism, natural nutrition, disciplined living, yoga, laughter, mindful movement. Slowly, deliberately, he rebuilt himself. The man they had written off became the fittest person in the community, and he thrived well into his late eighties.

We grew up watching that. It does something to you.

03

The father

Discipline, from a man of the forces

Our father was a bodybuilder and a man from the forces. For him, food and fitness were not hobbies — they were the twin pillars a life stands on.

Medicine, in his world, existed for accidents and emergencies. Everything else was handled earlier — at the table, on the training ground, in the daily discipline of living well.

04

Awakenings

The week the kitchen out-healed the hospital

A stye in the eye. The doctors recommended surgery — an estimate of nearly ₹5 lakh. Cooled green-tea bags, applied with patience, and it cleared within the week.

Then a jaw infection a dentist wanted to operate on. Paan's Katha — Catechu — boiled and applied three times a day. Healed in a week.

These are our family's stories, not prescriptions. But they taught us to always ask the older, gentler question first: what would nature do?

05

The Himalayas

Learning from the keepers of old wisdom

The search took us up into the Himalayas — to healing experts, Ayurvedic practitioners and traditional medicine keepers who measure wellness in seasons, not symptoms.

What they taught us became Healots' quiet conviction: healing is not a war against the body. It is the art of working in harmony with its rhythms.
