About Meheraan Indigo Powder
Indigofera tinctoria is the plant behind natural blue. On hair, indigo is what turns henna’s warm copper into browns, deep espressos and near-blacks — the classic two-step, plant-only way to dark hair colour. Meheraan packs it pure and potent, with nothing else added.
What it does
- Deepens and darkens — used after henna, indigo builds rich brown-to-black tones.
- Completely chemical-free — no PPD, no ammonia, no peroxide.
- A gentler ritual — a slower, kinder alternative to chemical dyes.
How to use
- Indigo works best after henna. Colour with henna first, then rinse and dry.
- Mix indigo with warm water into a paste and use it fresh — indigo does not keep once mixed.
- Apply, cover, and leave for forty-five minutes to an hour, then rinse.
- A single step on grey hair can read patchy; the henna-then-indigo order gives the most even, lasting depth.
Patch test first, as with any colour.
